Data Deletion Instructions

1. What Data We Store

When you connect an account (Discord, Steam, X, or Facebook) to UNIVERSEsigna (DOT) com, we store the following data:

• Username and avatar from Discord or Steam (whichever you used to register)
• Platform user IDs: Discord ID, Steam ID, X ID, Facebook ID
• Email address (if you added and verified one)
• Trust level (calculated from your connected accounts)
• Login timestamps and session tokens
• Country code (from Steam, if public on your Steam profile)

2. How to Delete Your Account

You can delete your account and all associated data directly from the website:

1. Log in at https://universesigna.com
2. Go to Settings
3. Click the Danger Zone tab
4. Complete the identity verification step (you will receive a 6-digit code by email, or confirm via your connected account)
5. Click Delete Account
6. Confirm the deletion in the dialog that appears

Account deletion is self-service and takes effect immediately. You do not need to contact us to delete your account.

3. What Happens After Deletion

• Your account is deactivated immediately. You are logged out and can no longer log in.
• There is a 90-day recovery window: if you log in again within 90 days using the same Discord or Steam account, your account will be fully restored.
• After 90 days, all personal data (username, avatar, email, platform IDs) is permanently anonymized and cannot be recovered.
• Platform IDs and ban history entries are retained in anonymized form for anti-abuse and platform integrity purposes.

4. Manual Deletion Request

If you cannot access your account (for example, because you lost access to the connected Discord or Steam account), you can request manual deletion by email:

Manual deletion requests are processed within 30 days in accordance with GDPR Art. 17 (Right to Erasure).
